We will go as far and say that the original plotline wasn't particularly intriguing, to begin with. But there's enough structure to translate the run-and-gun style into third-person action mechanics, which the game does relatively well.
You'll assume to role of Wesley chasing down a killer using his bullet-bending abilities to neutralize all the foes in his path. Not a lot of substance to each level of this game - but the gun combat is entertaining.
That is about as far as the satisfaction you will pull from Wanted: Weapons of Fate, though. Just as advertised. Besides finding creative ways to blast your enemies into oblivious - the game offers little else. The non-sensical story, the less-than-convincing animations, and the overall blandness of gameplay don't leave much for player enjoyment.
There really is no incentive to even finishing the game - it's just there to highlight its style in parallel with the film and comics. Even there, it doesn't do that well. There's the typical average film game release which does its bare minimum. Then there's this peculiar offering that doesn't add anything to the film. Only other than show off how the developers can stylize it.
The whole idea behind even bringing this game to market just feels bizarre. Power system is an advantage which is given to the player. Each character has his own power level and skill technique. Controls of Wanted Weapons of Fate are also very easy to manage hence every player can play it easily. This is a single player game where player enjoys each and every scene in it.
After Cross returns to the Chicago Fraternity, he confronts Sloan for giving him a false Kill Order and framing him as a rogue assassin. During the fight, he discovers a Kill Order for Sloan and realizes his treachery. However, Sloan turns Cross'S comrades against him and Cross is forced to flee. The Immortal chases him and in a duel with him, Cross fires a bullet straight into the Immortal's gun which explodes, severely damaging the French-man's face.
He then descends into the crypt and finds his father's mummified body. He takes the Fire Eater guns from his hands and promises him that he'll take care of the Immortal. However, just before they have a final duel, the Immortal reveals a twist; it was Cross who killed Alyse, with the two lovers mutually agreeing that following the Code was the only way it could end. The Immortal was merely sent to kill Wesley, who was considered an abomination by the Code.
After defeating the French-man, Wesley has a philosophical dialogue with the Immortal. The latter says that even though Wesley's parents were fanatics, they put their faith in the Loom, and that no great human endeavor was ever achieved without faith.
